Mechanical Engineer required for a company based locally. Candidate duties listed below.
To provide engineering support to all manufacturing facilities with particular emphasis on routine maintenance and repair of production machinery and assistance with machine changeover. Must have milling and turning experience.
Manufacture of component parts, build and assembly of special purpose machines allied to the manufacturing processes, ensuring that a high level of workmanship and quality if maintained at all times.
Monitor stock levels of raw materials, consumables, tools and sub-contract manufactured components; liasing with Workshop Manager to ensure re-ordering is initiated in good time.
Assist Senior Mechanical Engineer/Workshop Manager/Factory Manager as and when required during installation/maintenance of plant associated with factory premises.
Any other duties as required ensuring the smooth running of business activities.
