This is a very exciting position for a qualified, experienced chef who has the capability to produce excellent dishes as well as run a small kitchen brigade.
Our client is now seeking a Head chef to manage a team of 4 chefs running a small hotel kitchen which caters for both consumers and corporate business as well as functions and special events. The hotel is also adjoined to a very trendy and modern restaurant and the successful head chef will also be responsible for the running of this kitchen as well.
The ideal Chef will have a strong background of produce excellent meals from fresh food, with a flare for constructing new menus in keeping with modern trends. The role will involve recruiting, training and managing the kitchen staff.
Hours of work will vary depending on the needs of the business, will involve working at weekends and some split shifts.
