Dealing With Your Vacancy

To match the most appropriate candidates to your vacancy we take care to obtain a detailed job description and person specification.

Forward A Vacancy

Job descriptions should include:

  • Job Title
  • Department
  • Purpose of Job
  • Responsibilities
  • Any supervisory responsibility
  • Accountabilities
  • Daily duties
  • Working conditions
  • Qualifications and experience required
  • Salary/Bonus
  • Prospects

Person Specification should include:

  • Physical makeup
  • Attainments
  • General intelligence
  • Special aptitudes
  • Interests
  • Disposition
  • Circumstances and motivators

However, good matching looks deeper than 'core skills'. We take time to understand your company culture and working practices and the 'softer' personality skills required from the candidate. This can be done over the telephone but a better understanding is gained in person. Twenty minutes 'on-site' with our consultants is likely to save you hours of screening time.

When we have a full job description, we match from our current candidate database. When deadlines permit, we also advertise specifically for your vacancies as detailed in the section headed 'Candidate Attraction'.

From here we draw up a shortlist. We discuss the vacancy in full with all appropriate candidates before a final shortlist of is compiled. Candidates will only be forwarded to you if they have demonstrated a genuine interest in the position.

Quality Assurance for Temporary Staff

  • We confirm the safe arrival of the new temporary within half an hour of the booking's start.
  • We telephone again, four hours after the start of the booking to ensure that the temporary is performing to your expectations.
  • Following that we conduct a weekly quality check both to you and the temporary.

In the unlikely event that the temporary does not meet your requirements, we will find an appropriate replacement as soon as possible. We may also reduce or cancel the charge.
